Indian Hill High School families will get their first chance to ask teachers about the building's redesigned schedule on Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Meet the Teacher Night, according to a post on the school's X account.

The event comes less than two weeks after students began classes under a new daily schedule that Principal Andy Gruber presented to the Board of Education at its April 21 meeting. That schedule, developed with input from staff, students, families, alumni and community partners, added a 60-to-75-minute daily flex block and a dedicated Testing Center, two changes families may have questions about heading into the school year's first weeks.

The flex block gives students daily time for lunch, clubs, academic support, counseling and collaboration. The school said in a July 7 post on X that the block provides time to connect over lunch, attend events hosted by IHExperiences and the College, Career and Counseling Center, join clubs and work on assignments.

The Testing Center, which opened on the Aug. 13 first day of school, provides a quiet, focused room for assessments separate from regular classrooms.

Families will also meet a new face in the front office. Nate Eigher was named assistant principal for the 2026-27 school year after joining the district in 2012. He previously served as K-12 Dean of Students and assistant principal at both Indian Hill Primary School and Indian Hill Elementary School. In an Aug. 10 district Instagram post announcing the appointment, Eigher said, "Indian Hill has been my professional home for more than a decade, and I am honored to continue serving our students in this new role."
