Indian Hill students are back behind the camera.

The Indian Hill Exempted Village School District recorded the first episode of Season 3 of its Student Ambassadors Newscast on Monday, Aug. 24, with a new cohort of student-leaders filming on campus at Indian Hill High School's IHTN broadcast studio. The district announced the launch on X, suggesting the premiere episode would air Friday, Aug. 28.

The student-produced video series, branded under the district's #IHPromise initiative, puts students in front of and behind the lens to deliver school news, interview administrators and highlight campus life. Season 2 ran at least 16 episodes during the 2025-26 school year, including one that introduced Interim Superintendent Dr. Melissa Stewart to the community.

Chief Communications Officer Heather Higdon, who co-created the program, marked the milestone on LinkedIn the same day: "It has been such a professional blessing to not only create this amazing program with our outstanding team, but to also watch these students G R O W!"

The newscast has become a regular feature at board meetings. Minutes from the Jan. 13 regular meeting show the Student Ambassadors segment listed as the monthly #LeadNow Video presentation, with student ambassadors Shaili Shah, Juliana Rodriguez Perez, Cameron Wu and Ella Bay recognized for Board Member Appreciation.

The district has not released the names or number of students selected for the Season 3 roster. The Facebook announcement described the new group as representing "the best of our school" in leadership.

The IHTN studio, highlighted in a February tour posted by the high school, gives the student team a dedicated production space on campus.

The next Indian Hill Board of Education regular meeting is Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the Board Office Community Room, 6855 Drake Road, Cincinnati.
