Margot Hall, a second-grader at Indian Hill Primary School, is the latest student featured in the district's Brave Book Club.

Superintendent Dr. Melissa Stewart visited Hall's classroom to present the book, the district announced Oct. 1. The district called Hall "a true Brave."

The Brave Book Club produces two new books each month, one for Indian Hill Primary School and one for Indian Hill Elementary School. Teachers nominate students and share the real experiences behind each story, with the selected student written in as the main character.

The program launched in January at Indian Hill Elementary, where Stewart shared the story of fifth-grader Natalie Yeary. By March, it had expanded to Indian Hill Primary School with kindergartner Sophia Dixie.

Copies of every Brave Book Club book are shelved in the media centers at both buildings, where the collection continues to grow.
