Indian Hill shut out Finneytown 59-0 in a Cincinnati Hills League road game at McNulty Stadium on Friday, Oct. 2.
The Braves' second straight shutout pushed their record to 5-2 as they head into the final three weeks of the regular season. Indian Hill blanked Taylor 45-0 at homecoming on Sept. 25 before rolling over Finneytown.
The official Indian Hill Athletics schedule confirmed the 59-0 final. No individual statistics or scoring breakdown from the game were available.
The lopsided result continued a stretch of dominant offensive production for Indian Hill. Junior running back Jacob Alexander, who rushed for 674 yards and seven touchdowns in 2025, has been a key piece of the attack alongside senior quarterback Devlan Daniel. Daniel threw for 1,192 yards and 13 touchdowns last season while adding 1,116 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns on the ground, according to a WCPO preseason feature first reported by Mike Dyer.
"Everyone wants to be here … Everyone wants to compete. We all have the same goal," Daniel said in that July 24 WCPO interview. "Go win a state championship and I don't think that thought process has wavered from anyone's mind."
The offense has backed up those words. Indian Hill has scored 45 or more points in four of its last five games, with the lone exception a 47-48 triple-overtime loss to Wyoming on Sept. 11.
The defense has been just as dominant. Senior defensive back Dylan Hartman, a 2025 Division IV first-team all-state selection, anchors a unit that has posted back-to-back shutouts. Junior linebackers Topher Wachtel and Joey Jernigan, who each recorded 83 tackles last season, return as well.
Indian Hill went 13-1 in 2025 as a Division IV state semifinalist and moved up to Division III this season.
