Sycamore Township's curbside leaf collection starts Tuesday, Oct. 13, and runs through the week of Dec. 14.
The township's Maintenance Department will attempt to service each street weekly, according to an announcement on the township's website. Exact pickup times are unpredictable. The number of leaves, equipment breakdowns and the availability of temporary laborers all affect the schedule.
Where to put your leaves: Rake them to the curb or berm of the road. Do not place leaves in a ditch line or in the street. The township asks residents not to mix other yard waste, such as twigs or grass, with leaves set out for collection.
The hard deadline: All leaves must be at the curb by 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14, for guaranteed pickup.
No street-by-street route or zone schedule is available.
Residents with questions can contact Assistant Superintendent Steve Reutelshofer at the Maintenance Department: 513-792-7258 or [email protected].
