Sycamore Community Schools families who used BoardDocs to find meeting agendas, read minutes or sign up for public comment need a new bookmark. The district announced Tuesday, Aug. 4, that all Board of Education information has moved to a new platform called Diligent Community.

The change wasn't the district's choice. Diligent, the parent company behind BoardDocs, is retiring that product and migrating customers to its updated system, the district said in a news post on its website.

What you can do on the new portal

The Diligent Community portal offers the same core functions BoardDocs did:

  • View board meeting agendas and minutes
  • Look up district policy documents
  • Check meeting schedules
  • Sign up online to make a public comment at an upcoming meeting
  • Subscribe to email notifications about future meetings

The portal is live. Families can access it directly at sycamoreschools.community.diligentoneplatform.com or through the district's Board of Education page, where the "Meeting Agendas & Minutes" link now points to the new system.

Upcoming meetings

The switch comes days before the 2026-27 school year opens Aug. 13, and the board meets twice monthly at 6 p.m. at Kenwood Learning Commons, 11120 Kenwood Rd., Cincinnati.

Next up:

  • Wednesday, Aug. 5 — Work Session
  • Aug. 19 — Regular Meeting
  • Sept. 9 — Work Session
  • Sept. 23 — Regular Meeting

The five-member board is led by President Victor Harris and Vice President Dr. Adrienne C. James, alongside members Paul Balent, Sara Bitter and Will Gosnell.

The district did not specify when BoardDocs will be fully shut down, only that the new system is already in place.
