Indian Hill's boys golf team shot a 308 to win the Cincinnati Hills League Championship on Monday, Sept. 14, at The Mill Course.

The title is the second straight CHL championship for the Braves under head coach Will Thomure, who led the program to the same league crown in 2025. Thomure also earned 2025 CHL Coach of the Year honors.

The Braves' path to the championship showed steady improvement through the fall schedule. At the CHL Preview on Aug. 10 at The Mill Course, Indian Hill posted a 335 and finished fourth. Gabe Kohn led the team that day with a 77.

By mid-September, the team had sharpened. Kohn carded a 39 in a Sept. 9 conference match against Finneytown at The Mill Course. Five days later, the Braves put together their strongest team round of the season to claim the league title.

Individual scores from the championship round were not available as of publication.

The Indian Hill athletics department confirmed the result, calling the team "CHL champions" in a Sept. 14 post.

Thomure joined Indian Hill in the 2022–2023 school year and has built the program into a consistent contender. According to his bio on the Indian Hill athletics website, he guided the Braves to OHSAA District Tournament appearances in 2024 and 2025 and coached three student-athletes who went on to compete at the college level.

In that same bio, Thomure said he challenges his athletes to pursue excellence in the classroom, in competition and in the way they lead and serve others.

The postseason push continues. The Braves head to the Best of the West Tournament on Sept. 20 at Miami Whitewater, then return to The Mill Course for the OHSAA Sectional Tournament on Sept. 24. Indian Hill hosts Senior Night against Oakwood on Sept. 28 at Camargo Country Club before the OHSAA District Tournament on Sept. 30 at Pipestone Golf Course. The OHSAA State Tournament is set for Oct. 12 at NCR Country Club.
