Sycamore Township's 16th Annual Car Show rolls into the Robert L. Schuler Sports Complex on August 1, with free admission, live music, food trucks, and awards spanning six categories.

The show runs noon to 3 p.m. at 11532 Deerfield Road. An award presentation follows at 3:30 p.m., according to the township's announcement posted July 27.

Owners who want to enter a vehicle can register from 9 a.m. to noon for $15 per entry. Spectators pay nothing.

What to expect

On Air Entertainment will provide live music throughout the afternoon. Two food vendors will be on site: Cheesy Street Stacks & Melts and Granny's Goodies on the Go, with food and beverages available for purchase.

Judges will hand out awards in six categories: Best Import, Best Engine, Best Jeep, Best Paint, Best of Show, and Trustees' Choice. Door prizes are courtesy of KOI Auto Parts and DTI Professional Auto Detailing.

A tradition at the 18-acre park

The car show has become a fixture at the Schuler Complex, an 18-acre park named after State Senator and former Sycamore Township Trustee Robert L. Schuler. Last year's show, held August 2, 2025, drew entries ranging from muscle cars to military vehicles. Parks Supervisor Jason Petty presented the 2025 Best of Show award to Kevin Faust for his 1941 WC40 Weapons Carrier Truck, according to the township's parks and recreation page.

Petty is the township's point of contact for car show questions and can be reached at 513-792-7269.
