Indian Hill's unbeaten varsity girls soccer team tied Summit Country Day 2-2 in a Cincinnati Hills League match Monday, Sept. 28, at Shawnee Field.

The draw was the second of the season for the Braves, who also tied Mariemont 2-2 in CHL play. Both of Indian Hill's blemishes on an otherwise spotless record have come against league opponents, and both ended with identical scorelines. The Braves' overall record stands at 8-0-2 and 3-0-1 in conference play.

Indian Hill has outscored opponents in eight wins this season, beating Reading 9-0, Taylor 6-0, Cincinnati Country Day 3-0, Kings 3-0, Tippecanoe 3-0, Roger Bacon 3-1, Wyoming 2-1 and Archbishop McNicholas 1-0. The Braves visit Finneytown at McNulty Stadium on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m.

Middle school volleyball keeps rolling

Both Indian Hill middle school volleyball teams made quick work of Finneytown in CHL action Monday, Sept. 28, at Finneytown High School, according to results posted on the Indian Hill athletics site.

The seventh-graders won 25-11, 25-5. They are 13-0.

The undefeated run is the longest active streak in either Indian Hill middle school volleyball program, with the seventh-grade squad yet to drop a set or a match through 13 conference and non-conference contests. Their record sits at 11-0 in league play.

The eighth-grade squad won 25-12, 25-8, pushing its record to 11-1 overall and 10-1 in conference. That group has won nine straight after absorbing its lone loss early in the season.

Both teams travel to Wyoming on Wednesday, Sept. 30. The seventh-graders play at 4:30 p.m. and the eighth-graders follow at 5:30 p.m.

MS boys golf falls to Mariemont

Mariemont topped Indian Hill 160-173 in middle school boys golf Monday, Sept. 28, at Little Miami Golf Course.

Carter Drost led the Braves with a low round of 36. No other individual scores were reported by the school.

Indian Hill hosts Wyoming at Little Miami Golf Course on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 4:35 p.m.
